Amy Winehouse does seem like the sort of middle of the road artist they would use for a Bond film these days. Or HIM sounds like the sort of unknown band they would use. The last decent Bond theme was Tina Turners Goldeneye written by Bono & the Edge. In fact U2 have written some great film music for big budget films like 'Batman Forever' & 'The Gangs of New York'. I'm sure they would do the same for Bond 22. Someone mentioned Muse. They would also write a totally OTT, dramatic and brillient theme tune. I'm sure they would agree to do it as I've never heard of anyone turning down an offer to write a Bond theme.
