Hardy is supposed to be replacing Mel Gibson in Mad Max 4. I'm not sure I want another nutcase thespian Bond after DC. It's time to have some fun again.

I'm not convinced by the thought of Hardy as Bond but I could be wrong.

I don't see Hardy as Bond either as of yet.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Hardy is more Picard than Bond.

I doubt he'd be interested anyway. He's getting more and more work now and is quite highly regarded.

There are better choices than Hardy out there. The next Bond has to be different to DC. You know, suave, handsome, quite tall...

Chucky.....just because we Anti-Craigs said that looks counts doesn't mean that great acting is not an important factor. And just because someone looks like Brosnan doesn't mean he would be the best. Take Clive Robertson (picture shown below), for example. He looks like Brosnan a little bit. I'm sure he would do fine, but that doesn't mean would be the best. This Glen individual may look like Brosnan but he won't be as classy as Pierce. A unofficial would definitely fit for him. If I would someone to replace DC, I'll go for Christian Bale though he's too famous this around. If not him, I'll would go for an unknown who is a Dalton-type, 6'2'', and dark.

Though Schwimmer is tall, dark, and handsome, he seems to be too friendly for the role. Even if he might play the role well and in a serious way, I wouldn't consider him as a classic Bond. Schwimmer does look somewhat like Pierce, but that doesn't mean he'll be classy. I don't think he would have the appeal Pierce has. I may seem to be a little off here. But anyway, some people said that comedic actors can't do serious roles. Take Michael Keaton, for example. He was known for comedies before Batman. When Keaton was cast as Batman, fans had doubts of him portraying Dark Knight in a serious way since he's a comedian. In the end, he surprises the audience that he is Batman. Now back to Schwimmer. He's a comedian, and he can do serious roles, even Bond. But again, even if he portrays a serious Bond well, he won't be as memorable as Sean or Pierce.

Schwimmer could be a good villian; his villian could be a similar character to the one he playd in Band of Brothers.
The David Schwimmer as Bond argument is a typical pro-Craig as Bond one, suggesting that the choice for the last Bond was between a Pee Wee Herman type and Daniel Craig. Both Herman and Craig are unsuitable and there are thousands of actors who have the right mixture of charm, toughness and rudimentary acting skills for the role.
