Most of Roger's films did well, with five of them in the top ten.
The Moore era started off in fine fashion with the classic LALD itroducing everyone to a new Bond. The next 12 years saw him come up against everyone's favourite henchman, Jaws, literally go out of this world in the Oscar nominated MR and ski off a mountain in the most spectacular stunt in Bond movie history. Even AVTAK had Oscar winner Chris Walken delightfully hamming it up.

in THIS forum ONLY, The Spy Who Loved Me is the best bond movie to me Craig two movies far more superior than all Roger Moore's Bond (Clown Bond ;D) or Brosnan's outing (he was worst preety boy Bond or RAZZZIES BOND ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D) Have you actually watched TSWLM? How anyone can say QOS is better is beyond help. Yes i have sorry bro i don;t like the stupid "supertanker" ;D over the top "atlantis" and many more... to me ONLY one Moore' Bond film which better than QOS, For Your Eyes Only How anyone can say DAD,MR,AVTAK,TND,GE,TMWTGG,OP are better than CR is beyond help

I noticed you gave CR 10/10 and QOS 8/10, Chuck. Easily the best scores on this forum. However unlike most of us, you did'nt write reviews for either. Why not write a couple of reviews, let us know why you think their so good. We won't slate them, just be interesting to hear another opinion. Maybe there are things you've noticed that the rest of us have missed.
I was expecting Alvin to write his reviews and 'big up' both films but he was surprisingly quiet.

I know you asked me this too a while back (didn't mean to be rude not to respond) but I just got busy with the semester at school. I've been trying to write a review of both CR and QOS but my ideas just rambled on, just incoherent stuff, because I got too excited and nervous. It's just overwhelming to think about those movies because they've been life-changing events for me. I remember I described the CR DVD a while back. That's probably the best I could for now. Now I'm hearing that Peter Morgan, that writer for Bond 23, said in some reports that Bond 23 has a shocking story. That's so unbelievable and my friends and I are just blown away by the excitement. When I think of doing a QOS review, I remember that statement from Peter Morgan and I actually tremble because he's probably referring to some kind of continuation story from QOS. Then my professor said that this screenwriter is probably taking his direction from Daniel Craig himself because Daniel had a lot of input in the QOS script, he knows how Bond should be played. I think my professor is on to something but emotionally this is all so overwhelming. I'm heading off out of town for the holidays but I'm going to try again and organize my thoughts for some reviews.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Me thinks it time to put QOS out of it's misery. It should be put in it's rightful position in our league table, ie. the bottom & confirmed as the worst Bond film ever and one of the worst ever films.
Alvin has had enough time to write a review and give it his predictable 10/10.
Chuck predictably gave it an unbelievable 8/10 which will help it slightly. However even he rejected my request to write a review.
Perhaps even the DC fans know that QOS is dire.

I'm tempted to watch QoS again just to confirm if it really was that bad. It was like watching the rushes of a film that hasn't even finished shooting.

So after almost 2 years of voting and analysis from our loyal members, we have concluded the Alternative007 James Bond movie poll. Each film has been assessed out of 10 with the average rating being the film’s final score. Top of the list is ‘The Spy who loved me’. I think it fair to say that this is Roger Moore’s best outing and a simply stunning film.
There are some very interesting trends in the final table. The top 3 films have a different lead actor play Bond, which indicates that our members are open to different actors playing the lead and are not closed off from different interpretations. It’s also interesting how the comedic/light-hearted Bond films such as ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Moonraker’ are rated highly just as the darker and more serious in tone Bond films ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ and ‘From Russia With Love’.
Daniel Craig’s 2 outings as Bond are anchored at the bottom of our lists. Although the site and forum is not mainstream and has been critical of the selection of Daniel Craig as Bond, pro-Craig fans have been welcomed to the site and encouraged to voice their opinions. There is no discrimination of member’s opinions or selection and the poll has been conducted fairly with only 1 vote per member.
Thank you to everyone who has taken part and your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
Skywalker.

Interesting to read the reviews of CR on here. People don't slate the film. Just generally say it's overhyped and nothing special compared to the other Bond movies. Which is why it got below average marks.
QOS got really terrible marks. We were all very disappointed at the complete laziness and lack of effort. Too short, too confusing, no humour, gadgets and a Rambo esq Bond.
Congratulations to TSWLM. A worthy winner.
