The Bond producers are very lucky that 'Indy' & 'Ironman' have been released now. Batman, Lethal Weapon & 'The last Crusade' were all released at the same time as LTK back in 1989. I wonder what QOS will be up against, Happy Feet 2 perhaps.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

QOS will release at the same time as Madagascar 2 and Harry Potter 6. Even that, EON would do anything in its power to make QOS #1, especially here in the US. On QOS's release date of November 7, not only Madagascar 2 will release on that date but also Clint Eastwood's The Changeling as well.

Just saw Indy. It's a decent enough follow up to the last couple. But not in the same league as the grand daddie of them all, 'Raiders'. Lots of mentions about Indy's age in the film as if to ram home the point that Ford is'nt trying to look young. Special effects wise it's not that impressive. But then again Speilberg said he was'nt competing with 'The Matrix' etc, just trying to make a film that feels like an 'Indy' film. In that department he did a good job. The action is good but a bit silly at times while the studio sets are impressive. Having the young boy in the film was a good idea as the rest of the cast are old. But can't imagine another film being made without Ford.

Lucas said that the next one will be made with Mutt as the leading character.

I wonder if George was joking when he said that.

It's just not right without Indy as the leading character.

I think the end of Indy IV was a nice place to leave the character.

Somehow I don't see Indy IV being the last.
