The millions of true Bond fans that posted on the 'DanielcraigisnotBond', 'Sinking Ship' & 'Alternative 007' sites wanted Brosnan to continue as Bond. They were outraged that someone who had established himself in four films should be replaced by an uncharismatic, short, ugly, unknown actor.
It's true Brosnan got a razzie six years after leaving Bond. However he starred alongside Meryl Streep in the biggest film of the year. It outgrossed QOS. Mind you I must admit his singing was'nt great. DC's 'Memoirs of a Fool' or 'Defiance' got scalding reviews & flopped big time. But the razzie judges probably would'nt have even bothered watching them.

DC has been in some truly awful films but hardly anyone ever watched them. He should get on his knees and give thanks for Barbara Broccoli each morning.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)

DC has been in some truly awful films but hardly anyone ever watched them. He should get on his knees and give thanks for Barbara Broccoli each morning. It would be nice if DC stars in the next Star Trek movie or TV show. |
