No one has a good word to say about Die Another Day now (although it got some good reviews when it came out) and Quantum of Solace, as we know, got some dreadful reviews in 2008 and 2009. Which is the worst film?

Die Another Day has 59% on Rotten Tomatoes while Quantum of Solace has 64%. Neither are very good.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I hope QOS's ratings are slipping in Rotten Tomatoes.

Neither is very good when judged as a stand-alone film. DAD isn't sure if it wants to be serious or fantastical, while QOS is simply a poorly-made film all around.
However, I'd say DAD holds up better when viewed in the context of the overall series- which is how it will ultimately be judged over time. Most of the criticism directed at the film is due to all the over-the-top elements, such as invisible cars, space lasers, and ice palaces. Sure, those things are silly for a 2002 film, but not so much when compared to films that contain a hollowed-out volcano, a submarine car, or James Bond hopping a flight into space.
In other words, the argument against DAD usually requires that you also hold a negative view of most of the James Bond franchise. This seems unlikely to happen as time goes on. If history is any indication, then years from now, anyone that enjoys YOLT, DAF, or MR probably won't be offended by later entries like TWINE or DAD. Yet they might be a little perplexed by a humorless, bland entry like QOS.

I have issues with both films but I've watched Die Another Day four or five times and enjoy many parts of the film. Some of the dialogue is terrible and I dislike the CGI but it's funny in places and generally entertaining. Quantum of Solace is not a film I can see myself returning to (it was bad enough the first time around) and there lies the difference. I just found it depressing really.

I just found it depressing really. QOS managed the somewhat impossible feat of being a James Bond movie that isn't any fun. Even AVTAK- long considered one of the few entries that was fairly dull- is still quite a bit of fun.

What about NSNA? Is it any better than QOS? It better be.

DAD is not brilliant but I consider QOS to be one of the worst films ever made. There were so many bad reviews I lost track in the end.

What about NSNA? Is it any better than QOS? It better be. I would rather watch NSNA. It has the great Edward Fox and Pat Roach in it.

Would a Seagal Bond movie be better than QOS or just as bad as QOS?

The complaint about QoS was that it was too much like a Seagal or Van Damme flick. If they make a film like that it doesn't matter who plays Bond because he has nothing to do anyway apart from smash through glass and look miserable.

I don't think DAD is a very good film. The direction is all over the place, the script is awful and there is far too much badly done CGI. Jinx is a terrible character and Halle Berry's performance is too smug to be convincing. QOS has a decent script but is let down by a director who cannot shoot action scenes. Craig is again excellent but is lost amongst all the wavy-cam excesses and crash editing. I prefer QOS to DAD because there is a good film in there somewhere and it has characters that are believable (well, believable for a Bond film).
