Well at the heart of it DAD has the MR story where QOS has a lot of aspirations unrealized. From the name of the organization to the 'solace' Daniel is supped to get at the end of it, it's mess. The biggest problems is the mechanisms used to move the story along; water, corrupt UK & US governments, corrupt generals, effeminate bad guys with vapor organizations. DAD has the better bad guy(s?) and better story mechanisms whether or not the Scifi elements were completely out of place. DAD relevancy if only with the Koreas being in the news. Until there is an Opera house massacre QOS has no relevancy other than the paycheck Daniel cashed

Well at the heart of it DAD has the MR story M's mistrust of Bond is also reminiscent of TMWTGG, which makes it a slightly more interesting scenario than the rogue agent storyline of QOS. The latter's decision to inject a maternal aspect to Bond's relationship with M- something Craig expressly wanted- owes far more to Pamela Landy and Jason Bourne than anything Ian Fleming envisioned.

I disliked the second part of DAD, but loved the first one. And, that had Pierce Brosnan, which means an actual James Bond in it. So to me QoS is definitely worse since I disliked all of it. And I saw no James Bond in it.

It's ironic too that some of the criticisms of DAD like homages to previous films and a ridiculous CGI scene involving Bond were also a feature of QOS.

Quantum of Solace is worst because at least Die Another Day has James Bond in it.

both films, were not one of the best bond film. DAD was too much everything, too much gadget, too much CGI and lack of character development. meanwhile QOS although i don't like Craig as Bond, i like the way he act. He bring something new to the series. QOS itself lack of coherence, it seems doesn't give audience to take a breath, full of actions and to much shaky camera. comparing between the two, QOS a better film compare to DAD. DAD for me "the worse bond film ever made"

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Im going to say i enjoyed DAD, i no the film was far to over the top, but i felt i got my moneys worth, there were some bad moments but also some great ones two, always get a laugh when Q is showing Bond the new Astin martin and Bond throws the instruction manual up in the air and out pop the front guns and shoots the book to pieces, "Just took a few seconds Q"

QoS is worse because its script is just the table scraps from Casino Royale
