That gunbarrel is pretty bad. I saw the film and it's nothing special. A very run of the mill entry. If I liked the actor playing Bond it would probably pass the time ok. 3 out of 5 stars feels like a fair rating. The franchise is starting to feel a little rudderless now with the big shifts in tone and last minute scripts. They seem to be lacking a big figurehead behind the scenes.

I missed the entire thing but I hope they raised a lot of money. It was nice of Eon to take part.

I haven't watched Penny Dreadful yet. The reception has been slightly mixed from what I've read about it.

It would have been interesting of Brosnan had had more say in the production and direction of his Bond films and picked the directors himself.

Travolta would be great as he was in Face Off and that one with Halle Barry and whats his name can't thinkof it but Barry was an Agent planted to take Travola down...... You must be thinking of Swordfish. I saw it on television years ago but can't remember much about it.

X-Men: Days of Future Past. Captain Picard and Gandalf are back as Professor X and Magneto.

I think a Lewis Collins Bond film would have been a lot of fun. He'd have been tougher than Roger and not a million miles away from Craig in approach but - importantly - looking more like a traditional Bond.

If I was in his position I don't think I'd ever leave the house again. You could even hire a butler.

I remember reading about Graham Rye restoring the DAF Moon Buggy after finding it in a field all dilapidated.

He's looking very good for his age. In fact, he doesn't look that different from the Brosnan of Die Another Day.

I am surprised by Daniel Craig's lack of ambition. I thought he was supposed to be some serious actor but he appears to be semi-retired now apart from Bond films.

He looks 80 now so his appearance won't make any difference. Even by his own standards he looked ancient is Skyfall. You'd think the next film would have a better than average chance of being his last. It's strange that he doesn't seem that bothered about doing much outside of the franchise. I thought he was supposed to be some serious arty actor.

Hiddleston is Loki in the Thor/Avengers films.
