She's the obvious choice and it'll be somewhat galling if they pluck some dreary old grunge singer from somewhere at the last minute instead.

Rumors of the new Bond song were put to rest after her rep told People.com that "Amy has been in the studio working on songs for her new album with Mark Ronson. Recording for anything else is pure speculation."
Ronson was behind the singer's last album, 'Back In Black', which helped establish Winehouse as a major international artists over the past 12 months.
The rep continues, "She just went into the studio to record with Mark two or three weeks ago. She was writing in her home studio before that."

Hello,
I have seen two pictures of Amy Winehouse in the paper today and I am extremely worried about her health. She looks very thin and gaunt.
A very heavy smoker in her mid-twenties, Amy is suffering from emphysema and it has been reported she will soon require an oxygen tank.
Doctors have said her lungs are down to 70% oxygen capacity!!! It's so very sad.
It is my sincerest wish that Amy gets healthier, and that her song shines and rocks our world when we see "Quantum Of Solace".

I think Amy might be out of the running now. I hope she recovers and starts singing again. I saw her twice over the weekend on TV (Glastonbury and 46664 concert). She is clearly on the express train to ruin. Great singer, very quirky, yet supremely talented. She would make a good choice for a Bond track, but I actually thought Cornell did a great job on the last one. If Amy does not get the vote, I think Leona Lewis would do an equally great job. |

Yeah she did and it was plainly obvious she was well high on drugs as she was just delivering incoherent crap between songs. I don't think she will ever get her act together. |
