I was looking at the MSN special on Quatum and browsed the photo gallery. I was struck by how un Bond like Daniel Craig actually looks. I realise that he is a success and cinemagoers have no qualms about his look. But for me these pictures prove that he is a radical departure from the normal image of James Bond.

The second one looks like a TSWLM-style visual gag...yet Craig looks as depressed as ever. I guess having a hand in his pocket is supposed to let us know that he's in one of his better moods?
And Olga doesn't look like she knows whether to play the character seriously...or like a Bond girl.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Great or not, DC's no classic Bond like Sean or Pierce. Harrison Ford's 65, and he can still kick his @$$. Indy's an icon, and DC's Bond isn't and never will be.

I just saw Indy IV. It's the best one yet though some may disagree with me.

I just saw Indy IV. It's the best one yet though some may disagree with me. It's entertaining enough although it might take a couple of viewings on DVD to come to a proper conclusion and see if the film holds up. I don't think you can ever beat Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

I can't see how Daniel Craig has the look for Bond, and those MSN pics don't make me change my mind. But he's popular! Indiana Jones was great.

I hope QOS doesn't make more money than CR, especially here in the US.
