The World Is Not Enough (1999) is the nineteenth spy film in the James Bond series, and the third to star Pierce Brosnan as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The film was directed by Michael Apted.

I personally consider this to be a top Bond movie. It's got a great cast and an enjoyable storyline. Brosnan is in fine form too.
9/10

7/10. Not bad at all but it could have been larger in scope.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

8/10.
It has a great cast - including Daniel Craig as Bond critic Sophie Marceau. Pierce is wonderful too.

Another entertaining Bond film made in the Cubby Broccoli style and enhanced by Pierce Brosnan.

Pierce was now established as Bond. The public loved him and the franchise had been saved after the rocky 90-94 period. TWINE saw a confident Brosnan improving in the role. Displaying his full repotoire of skills as Bond. Whether playing it tough - knocking bodyguards about, or playing it witty 'I see you put your money where your mouth is' Brosnan was the perfect Bond at the time. Everyone expected another Connery/Moore esq quota of around dozen Bonds.
The film itself had Robert Caryle. One of Britains most popular actors at the time. He did a good job. Robbie Coltrane and Goldie had nice cameo's but the two leading ladies were a bit unmemorable. The action is well staged but compared to the big US films not really impressive. However I liked the gadgets, Bonds blow up jacket, watch/light & glasses.
Overall TWINE is a good, solid Bond. 8/10.

I agree with Admam mostly. 8/10. I love the PTS especially, the best part of the film.

Seven. I haven't seen it for a while though. The speedboat chase is good fun.

How would you guys make TWINE better? A bigger and better ending. The ending is fine to me. But what about a little more characterization, especially on Denise Richard's role?
