So yes, I am looking forward to Skyfall, because I refuse to let others dictate to me what and how I should enjoy one of my favourites. Cheers I wouldn't pay to see Bond 23 even if it is a good movie. ironyman...I don't want us to be enemies here, but you got realize that EON brainwashing you in helping DC's Bond 23 to become his TSWLM....which is something we Anti-Craig rebel dread to see. I'm sure our friend BJ will agree. You give too much credit to EON. No one has brainwashed me, instead I have decided that I am going to take the next Bond films on their own merits as I have in the past. DC is not my choice for Bond, but then I also don't like Lazenby - even tho OHMSS is one of the best films except for him - and thought that Sir Rog stayed for 2 Bonds too many. If you step away form the hyper partisanship on both sides you start to see that the general public regards DC simply as another in a long line of Bonds, especially since QOS revealed that the emperor had no clothes after the rhapsodic reviews and historical revisionism that accompanied CR. For years Bond fandom was determined by Bond fans, not by the studios. I am simply moving back to that attitude. I will continue to visit this site and the DCINB forums, as well as HMSS (one of teh most thoughtful Bond sites on the net) because I find that the discussion of Bond at these sites, when you get away from the DC issue, is what Bond fandom is supposed to be about. Cheers

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

DC's Bonds, Skyfall especially, have the words personal gain written all over. EON's trying to get away with they did when Pierce was Bond. They dismissed him horribly, leaving him without a classic Bond (except GE). This I never forgive. Now those Pro-Craig minions, or better to say Confederates, are blaming Pierce like it's his fault. This is why I will never pay to see DC Bond movies great or not. And no is going to stop me. If Skyfall is going to be DC's TSWLM, you might as well have Marilyn Manson as the next James Bond, and I'm serious. If someone like DC can have his TSWLM, why not guys like Manson?

I can't be bothered to watch it. I know what happens and it does not sound like it will appeal to someone like me who does not like the new style of the Daniel Craig films. Maybe I'll take look at the DVD.

I'd look forward to Bond 24 if it had a new Bond actor and producer.
