Which Bond novel are you reading at the moment? I have just read Live and Let Die which is a good thriller despite the rather dated depiction of black people in the US. I think Bond probably had to go on a diet at the end of this one after all the food he ate!  Although he probably had lots of exercise and healthy food when preparing to visit Mr Big's island! |

Hi,
Ian Fleming has that delicious way of telling us how decadently 007 eats, drinks, smokes, ect.
I don't know about James Bond, but I feel like I'm putting on weight just reading what he eats!
I plan to read 'Devil May Care' by Sebastian Faulks writing as Ian Fleming (bring on the buffet!) next, and then possibly 'From Russia With Love'...which surprisingly I've never read before.

Always great to see you on the forums Harry Palmer! Take Care! I've just read From Russia With Love again which is a wonderful adventure with many very colourful characters. and he eats a lot in it! On a plane journey Turkey Bond has about 200 drinks with and lots of rich food; when I go on a plane I have a few soft drinks and some light snacks! Ali Kerim Bay only eats raw food! |
