What are the chances of Skyfall being Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond?
I'm asking because - like many on here - I'm really fed up with the Craig era dragging on and Skyfall looks really awful with Daniel Craig's Bond way past his sell by date..

Zero. I think he will make another one straight away - unless Skyfall is a REALLY big disaster.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

He was brought back after four years so may as well make the next one.
Daniel Craig could cal it quits after three if he is bored with the role.

I see him either as a Scotty-type character or Andorian.

(At that other place) Someone was telling me IF the next two Girl Who movies are made Craig would be busy until 2015 essentially, assuming they Girl Who Played with Fire started production 2013 and was made back to back with the last Girl Who wrapping some time in 2014.
MGM wants Bond 24 November 2014, sooooo. It might get Craig out of Cubby's hair.
Personally I think Daniel looks too old now, coming back looking even older would be a mistake. But this isn't Cubby Broccoli's 007 it his daughters and she loves Daniel, it will have to be the studio who pulls the plug. Unless SF is bigger than big I think MGM would be glad to hire a new Bond. That leaves Barbara to deal with who unfortunately has beaten the odds so far.

It would not surprise me if Daniel Craig returned for Bond 24 after a three or four year break as the producers seem determined to stick with him for Bond whatever happens. Are the next two Dragon Tattoo movies being made as I heard the first was a big flop.

It looks like Daniel Craig will stick around as Bond. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17597603Daniel Craig: 'I'll keep going as James Bond' James Bond star Daniel Craig has said that he will continue to play the British spy for as long as he can. The star - who is reprising the role for a third time in the latest film Skyfall - told the BBC he would "keep going until they tell me to stop". He admitted there were big expectations for the film to be a success with the Bond franchise celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. However, he said the team were "going to put on a good show". Craig added although he wanted to leave his mark on the films, he was under no illusion he would have to eventually give up the 007 role. "I know there'll be someone after me, and hopefully someone after them - I'm just trying to keep [the series] going." There has been a four-year gap between the previous film Quantum of Solace and the new film. Production was temporarily suspended in April 2010 due to uncertainty over film company MGM's future amid financial troubles. Skyfall Skyfall will be Daniel Craig's third outing as 007 But the actor said work had still been going on behind the scenes. "We haven't been resting on our laurels, we've been plotting what to do with this film," he said. "The first one was a whirr - it was a new experience and flew by - the second one was the tricky second album, but this one we've really planned and got a great script. "It's going to be different from the last one, but it will still be a great Bond movie." Skyfall, which is directed by Oscar-winner Sam Mendes, also stars Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes and sees Dame Judi Dench return as M. Filming has taken place in Shanghai and Turkey, but the action has now moved to the 007 stage at Pinewood studios. BBC entertainment reporter Lizo Mzimba had exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the set, and watched the "culmination of a big chase" scene on a set that recreated a London Underground station. "Quite appropriately for the 50th anniversary Bond, a lot of the action is taking place in familiar London landmarks". Skyfall is due for release in the UK on 26 October.

Now is this why Bond 23 must CRASH and BURN, both critically and financially (especially here in the US).

Are the next two Dragon Tattoo movies being made as I heard the first was a big flop. Yeah it flopped but Sony said in January there going to go ahead with the second and Third. MGM said a few weeks ago they didn't make money on the movie, it was big deal they were a partner in it. MGM will not be part of the second and third unless they can do it for much cheaper. The girl and Daniel should come back if the sequels get made at this point I think it is 50/50 chance, but they might recast Daniel's part just because.
