Alternative007 would like to know what our forum members consider to be Sir Roger's finest hour as 007

I voted for The Spy Who Loved Me, my favourite. Such great fun. Of course in the current Sir Roger as Bond hating climate I'll probably be arrested for that comment.

Hello, I also voted for "The Spy Who Loved Me". For me...it was Sir Roger's "Goldfinger". Don't worry, Harry...many people on this forum, including myself, have nothing but respect and admiration for Roger Moore and he is definitely not disliked on this forum! Remember, around the time Connery trying to be lured back for "Diamonds Are Forever"...Guy Hamilton was pushing for Burt Reynolds to be Bond! (YIKES!!!!) Then along came a handsome, suave, debonair actor born in London who Ian Fleming himself liked for the coveted 007 role...Roger Moore! Cubby Broccoli obviously liked him, fans flocked to his movies, he raked in millions for EON, I could go on and on. In my humble opinion...Roger Moore breathed new life and saved the Bond franchise. (Mr. Skywalker will agree with me on this!) Take Care!

The Spy Who Loved Me. If only Bond films were still as much fun...

Not on here Harry. BTW congrats on the promotion. It seems I'm now a Lt-Commander. I can't believe I've done 50 posts. I thought I'd done just the odd one.

The Spy Who Loved Me was awesome (That's sounds sooooo weird if you think about it) he was so perfect in that movie. I loved him on Jet skis.

OP for me, they don't call me octobenny for nothing. The first Bond film I saw on the big screen and one that made a lasting impression.
