This is a thread that is for general chat. It can be pretty much about anything you want. Favorite film/music/restaurant/holiday destination. Anything goes (Within reason).

My favourite film is Harold and Maude. Never seen the film . I have heard it is highly rated, but alas it's another I need to get round to seeing. I don't actually have a personal favourite, as my list would change like the wind dependant upon my mood.

Good idea Skywalker. Why thank you Harry. I aim to please. Open question to anyone. What is your ideal night in?

Well in answer to my own open question. An ideal night for me, would be an Indian takeaway washed down with a nice bottle of wine. There is nothing better than firing on a good movie (especially Bond) and chilling out.
Unfortunately Mrs Skywalker does not share my love of Bond, so I don't always get the chance to watch them.

I'd have an evening of unhealthy food and something geeky like the original Star Trek series on DVD. Then a horror film.

My perfect night in would involve some brass-rubbing and perhaps some basket weaving. Then I'd watch Songs Of Praise and have an early night with a warm milk.

How do you feel about the use of CGI in films. Dp you consider it to be an improvement or do you find it annoying?

My perfect night in would include a time- travelling Raquel Welch and a bucket of custard.
CGI is a bit annoying but it has allowed certain films to be made and is good for TV -i.e in things like the newer Star Trek series.
