70s: Diamonds Are Forever - 7/10 Interesting. What makes it your favorite 70's Bond? (Just curious, since it seems to divide a lot of fans.)

I simply enjoy it, well except for the climax. It's got sharp wit, Connery seems to be having a ball, Jill St. John is hot, the humor is dark and bizarre. It's better at comedy than the Moore films are. It's not the type of Bond film I prefer, yet as far as the 70s go, it's the better film.

60s - FRWL (Connery on his best) 70s - TSWLM (the best of them all) 80s - FEYO (more serious, yet still glamorous and big) 90s - TWINE (this is darker and more character-driven Bond I can accept) 00s - DAD (just unbelievably enjoyable extravaganza)

Hello, 60's - 'Goldfinger' (for me set the bar for Bond) 10/10 70's - 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (Sir Roger's finest hour) 10/10 80's - 'The Living Daylights' (Timothy is sooo underrated) 9/10 90's - "GoldenEye' (a great debut by Pierce) 10/10 00's - "Die Another Day" (despite being campy at times) 8/10 Note: I liked 'Casino Royale'...but I didn't care for the 're-boot' concept) The World Is Not Enough is an underrated Bond film. I couldn't agree with you more, Harry! Take Care!

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I thought you're going to put DAD for 00s. I think Formerbondfan and I should pay a visit to Skywalker mansions with some rotten fruit! Lots of ardent Craig critics say that Casino Royale was quite a well made film, but was ruined by craggy 40 year old Daniel Craig as the rookie Bond.
