Hi, Mr. Kadov. I know your comments are in the spirit of good-natured riffing so I don't take any of it as insults. As my friend Quang said a while back, we're all friendly here. However, I can't comment on your negative view of Daniel Craig because I now realize it takes time for some people to grasp his style. But I really believe once you do get his style, you'll be blown away just like me. It's like he's on a higher plane of existence than all of us. I think that's just how some phenomenal celebrities like Elvis, even great figures like Einstein or Gandhi or Obama, live. They're just on a different level and it's mind-boggling. So now Eon needs to turn to the Spy Kids franchise for inspiration? How about that Hannah Montana concert movie? Or the latest Disney movie, Camp Rock or something, starring the Jonas Brothers? I think what's more important than gadgets in the next film is the performer(s) of the title song. I have a feeling that Eon is going to blend something extraordinary in the next film. It won't surprise me if they choose a big modern act for the song, and that will blend with the intellectual masterpiece theater style of Daniel Craig. So in other words, there will be a unification of pop art and classical art. I was talking to the kids next door, they're young teenage girls about 13 or 14. I couldn't convince them that Daniel Craig is the best Bond, they didn't even like the Bond movies, but they said they would go see a Bond movie if Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers were involved. So that got me thinking. I think it's a great a idea to use either of them for the next Bond song. Maybe even have them do some cameos, or even play a minor role. That would guarantee the next Bond film a hit with teenagers. The box-office would beat Titanic's record. And can you imagine the creativity for Daniel Craig? He would be appearing opposite the great young singers of today, and that would just blow everyone away. I'm trembling right now just thinking of it.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Alvin, my young friend, you're still intoxicated with all that Craig Kool-Aid. I'm sure old Danny Boy is a wonderful human being, but I wouldn't put him on the same level as a Gandhi or an Einstein. C'mon, the guy's just an actor, and I'm sure even he wouldn't classify himself in that same category. Even your comment that Obama is on the same level as Gandhi is ridiculous. The guy is, ultimately, a politician--and whether a politician is at the right or the left of the political spectrum, they're all questionable characters in my view. Then we can also classify Steven Seagal's expressionless, bland persona in the same manner as Craig's--an intellectual Masterpiece Theater style. I was channel-surfing the other night and saw one of those costume dramas on Masterpiece Theater, a Jane Austen production or something, and it struck me how artistic it was because it was flooded with bland actors who looked like Vladimir Putin, and the constant explosions, which were careful homages to Marc Forster's way of filming explosions, were just deeply moving. I was trembling and couldn't stop the tears of joy flowing from my eyes. I realized it was one of those mythic moments that Daniel Craig has caused--a unification of all sentient beings. Well, you've just brought up the problem that confronts Eon. If memory serves, the reason Eon had to recast the Bond role with a so-called younger actor was to stay relevant to modern times and to appeal to younger audiences. Your neighbor's kids are the same age as my nephews and nieces. And you know what, Alvin? They feel the same way as those kids next door. But they remember Robert Downey Jr. as Ironman and are fond of that film. They remember Christian Bale as Batman and are crazy about The Dark Knight. Now, obviously, we can't rely on just your neighbor's kids and my nieces and nephews as the ultimate representatives of that age group. But their sentiment does raise questions. Casting these Disney stars for minor roles would only reinforce the intellectual Masterpiece Theater style of Daniel Craig. The gritty realism alone, which Eon proclaimed everyone is hungering for, would be even more intense. After all, the presence of Hannah Montana or those ruthless Jonas Brothers would lend danger to the grim business of espionage. And just think of the credibility of Craig's youthful presence. Too my eyes, he now looks about 60, and when he appears next to these young stars, he'll look about 75. In my view, there's nothing more realistic than a 75-year old 007 jumping from one action scene to another, with Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers tagging along.

Craig will older than Brosnan was in GoldenEye, Dalton was in TLD (I think), Connery was in Dr No and Lazenby was in OHMSS when he makes his next Bond. Will he still be a rookie Bond?

Daniel Craig looks very old when he has black hair. It does not suit him. This is why he had light brown hair for Bond.
