Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Pierce had a good run. He was highly praised as Bond and none of his films received the awful reviews QOS did. Then again, no Bond film received the awful reviews QOS did.

Then why the hell QOS got 6.9 on imdb while TND, TWINE, and DAD got 6.4, 6.3, and 6.0 respectively? And why the hell do Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz told audience to see QOS? And look at this: bventertainment.go.com/tv/buenavista/atm/reviews.html?sec=6&subsec=quantum+of+solaceThose guys are mad.

If the majority of the forum members choose to like or dislike any of the lead actors than that is their own prerogative, but it's certainly not a pre-requisite for joining the site.

IMDB seems to be biased towards newer movies. I bet GoldenEye would have somewhere in the 8's when it was released. QOS will go down a bit.

You obviously haven't read many reviews for Die Another Day then. I recall it being reviewed rather poorly. Though Quantum Of Solace is no where near the greatness of Casino Royale, it's far from being the worst Bond film. Though it should've been better.

Die Another Day wasn't that badly recieved although people tend to look back on it as a poor entry. With QoS many reviews stuck the boot in when it came out and expressed the view that it wasn't really a James Bond film. The central character could have been anyone and it was more concerned with trying to mimic Jason Bourne than Ian Fleming or the series of films produced by Cubby Broccoli.
