Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Lucky Pierce! I'm still trying to wash the memory of QoS away.

I know Pierce has praised Daniel a lot, so he knows that Daniel is an incredible acting phenomenon. That's probably why he hasn't had a chance to watch Daniel's Bond movies because he hasn't yet prepared himself to handle the deep emotions in those films.

I think the main reason Pierce hasn't seen DC as Bond yet is that he hasn't gotten over being dumped from the role by EON. Also, he wanted explored deeper into a much a darker territory of the Bond character itself but never got the chance. If he's going to get over this past life, then it would best for him if he does regular a gritty action blockbuster.......something like Sean Connery's The Rock or Liam Neeson's Taken (though it wasn't much of a hit). Just a thought though.

Is it just me, or does the beard and hair that Pierce sports in Percy Jackson, look just like the beard and long hair he had in Die Another Day? As for not seeing Casino Royale. I would imagine it's standard former Bond procedure. "I haven't seen it, though I'm told it / they, is / were very good." *Delete as appropriate*
All the Bonds say that.

I don't claim to speak for Pierce Brosnan. But I'd imagine he would have found what they did to the Bond character in Royale interesting, and considered himself very fortunate that he did not appear in Quantum of Solace which made Die Another Day look like the Godfather.
