Many people seemed to take Bond seriously now, and frown at any comedy moments. These are one of my favourite bits in the James Bond series.
What's your favourite comedy moment?
I love the pre-credit sequence in Octopussy when Roger disguises himself as that man with the moustache - then meets him.
I also love the helicopter/lotus sequence in The Spy Who Loved Me.

There are so many classics.
I find Live and Let Die to be hilarious. Sir Rog's facial expressions and the 'Moore Brow' in particular crack me up.

Ironically, one of my favorites was delivered by Dalton:
Bond: SWITCH THE BLOODY MACHINE OFF!!!
As far as one-liners go, Moore's deadpan of this one is among his finest, imo.
Bond: When one is in Egypt, one should delve deeply into its treasures.

Hi,
As Skywalker mentioned...there's so many!
One of my favorites was delivered by Pierce in "Tomorrow Never Dies". After a baddie falls into the machinery at Elliot Carver's factory...we see newspaper splattered with blood.
Bond: "They'll print anything these days."
LOL Hilarious!
Take Care!

I thought Tim Dalton was quite charming and humourous, poirot, somthing he does not get enough credit for.
Welcome to the froum Alec 006. Some people seemed to dislike Brosnan for being smarmy, but he can make me laugh just by making a facial expression.

I thought For Eyes Only where Roger sends the biker henchman through window and the florist comes out with a bunch of flowers and he dryly remarks Send them to the funeral

I still find it funny when Jaws sets off the Airport metal detector. Not the most sophisticated piece of comedy ever devised but it works for me.

When Bond reveals that he switched the Faberge egg at the auction, I love M's reaction:
"Good God." ;D

There are so many classic moments that I find it difficult to mention them all. Moore and Connery where masters of the one-liner.

My favorites are "She's just dead" That's practically the very epitome of a classic line in Bond history.
Moonraker where Bond steals Jaws' parachute and Jaws starts trying to use his arms to fly like a bird. And in the very end where Jaws speaks for the first time. It was so unexpected that I laughed out loud.
Unfortunately, I make a guilty pleasure out of the Casino Royale torture scene... What!? I thought it was pretty halfway decent.

Little moments like in LALD when Moore enters the voodoo shop and the sexy assistant asks if he needs help and Moore replies with a 'Just looking'. Classic Moore moment.
