He's probably seen bits of it and read some reviews. Whenever anyone asks (which is probably quite often) he will give the standard answer and say he likes it.
Pierce was pretty quiet when DC was appointed as Bond as there was all the negativity from fans and the media. He was probably rolling around laughing.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

For you to do this and hate Pierce Brosnan tells me that Daniel has really made a big impact on your life. I know this is personal stuff so I understand if you don't share details. But your courage is something to be proud of. You're not ashamed that you're just into Daniel Craig. It's like what that other guy, jet set willy and that other guy hergeshimer revealed. They were not ashamed to admit they were aroused by Daniel's physicality in that scene in CR where he wore the small swimming trunks. I think for many men that was a turning point in their lives. Daniel showed us all that it's ok to be yourself and there's nothing wrong with reaching into our inner emotional side. Barbara Broccoli knew about this sentiment in the modern progressive man and she understood that danieil can capture that spirit.

He's also smiling because he didn't have to go through the shame and indignity that Craig went through when the producers got him to parade around in light blue swimming trunks (although I understand, from your fellow Craig fan, alvin, that seeing Craig in swimming trunks is a historical moment in your lives and that the actor's approach is therefore worth defending because it supports an inner homo-erotic freedom that completes your true being--no offense, alvin, but that's how I'm reading your views). Brosnan was also smiling because he didn't suffer the indignity of being shoved into a mindless film like QOS, which everyone now regrets watching and is trying to forget desperately. Even Craig is trying to forget his Bond films, considering how he's taken on two other films and seems unexcited about Bond 23.

Brosnan also did'nt have to go through the shame of having all the negativity about his appointment in 1994. Something which would have embarrassed Cubby Brocoli.

Cubby wouldn't have cast Daniel Craig in a million years.

Cubby wouldn't have cast Daniel Craig in a million years. I wonder if Cubby would rather consider casting Seagal over DC, or Seagal would just be as bad as DC. ;D

Cubby wouldn't have cast Daniel Craig in a million years. Well as Cubby passed away before Daniel Craig had been cast in the role it's impossible to say. Just because you dislike Craig, doesn't mean that Cubby would've disliked Craig.

Look at the five actors Cubby cast and asked yourself if he really would have cast DC. He turned down Burt Reynolds because he thought Bond had to be tall and he gave Lewis Collins short shrift too.

I can't think of any Craig lookalikes that Cubby considered. He was against a reboot too, although he may have reconsidered with the popularity of reboots in the latter half of the 2000's.

I agree that Cubby Broccoli would have looked into the reboot concept. These are modern times now, he can't ignore the mood of the times. I saw a trailer for Octopussy the other day, and I noticed how (for an 80s film) it had a 1960s look and feel, especially the voice of the narrator. That is sooo old, like the kind of movies that existed when my grandparents were kids. Then later on, the films took on a little better feel, like GE or TND, sort of a little more cooler in the time they were in. But I think Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig have a better understanding of today, a better understanding of the modern progressive time, and they re-did the series to fit in the social angle of today. You know, all this rumor in the media of replacing Daniel is really getting me depressed. I can't really think of any actor that has his style and essence and who could address the modern style of today.

Regarding El Brozzer.
Pierce Brosnan has revealed that he wouldn't mind his old job as James Bond back --and he doesn't know why he was was fired from the role in the first place.
In a recent ABC interview Brosnan stated:
“I was wondering why the door closed on me!,“I thought everything was going so well! You know ‘Come back,’ they say, ‘Come back’ and there you go! We won’t talk about that.”
He says he still enjoys being recognized and called James Bond “They call me out, ‘Hey James, hey Bond,’ and I wear it with pride,” Brosnan said of his fans. “I had the greatest time in my life, making that character, being part of that franchise.”
It’s the first time Brosnan has revealed his true feelings about no longer being Bond having previously praised his successor Daniel Craig . Back in ‘04, he told Entertainment Weekly, “Bond is another lifetime … behind me.” However he has never watched Craig fully in the role “I tried to watch it on a plane once,” I thought, OK 37,000 feet, this is a good distance to watch it from. And I watched it and it broke down, and then they fixed it and it broke down again.”
