Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Judging from the title, Batman has returned. And so is Tim Burton and Michael Keaton as the legendary Dark Knight. After the success of WB's first Batmovie, it was decided to take the franchise into the darker territory even more. This sparked some controversy as it was inappropriate for young children, and the sequel earned less than its predecessor at the box office. Nevertheless, Batman Returns became a classic for many fans and was even considered by many to be the last great Batmovie before the reboot. Meow.

Eight out of ten. The film is probably too downbeat and dark and I'm not sure about The Penguin in this one but it looks great and has some excellent moments. Out of the four Batman films made before Christopher Nolan arrived I think this is probably the best one.

Is this the one where he made his car really small to get through an alley?

8/10, although I must confess that it has been a few years since I last watched it.

And not a very good Penguin. Burgess Meredith was better.
