Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

A long time ago in a world of pop culture far, far away... In 1977, one pop culture event had emerged to change the face of the planet and lasted for 6 years. Then in 1999, this phenomenon returned to theaters. Star Wars was back. This time is about the events taking place 32 years before A New Hope, focusing on the origins of Anakin Skywalker and the Old Republic.....before Skywalker's fall to dark side and becoming Darth Vader.....before the near-extinction of the Jedi.....before the Empire. The franchise's return was most anticipated event for many moviegoers. At release of the first Star Wars prequel, the viewpoints were divided. Most people said that the series is ruined, mostly due to wooden dialogue and directing as well as Jar Jar Binks. This led to the infamous slogan "George Lucas Raped Our Childhood". To some, the Lucas criticism started when the Special Editions of the Original Trilogy came out. Despite the mixed reviews, Episode I went on the become the highest grossing movie of 1999 and of the saga. The first prequel is now out on Blu-Ray with the rest of the saga and will rerelease this coming February in 3D, marking the 35th anniversary of franchise. Episode I, along with the rest of the prequels, may not be the best movie of all time, but it is certainly worth the money an infinite times over Skyfall (or should I say Skyf*ckers?). "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge."www.mercuryrapids.co.uk/sw-ep1-poster2.jpg [/img] Also check out Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I'm not a fanatical fan of the prequels but this is a mildly enjoyable film (and it is Star Wars). 7.

7/10.
It's watchable but not a classic like those from the original trilogy.

Aaaarrrrghhhhhhh! Not Star Wars prequels. 1/10. How does that compare to CR and QOS? What would you rather watch Episode I over those two corrupted Bonds?

8 because I though it was the best of the prequels
Although I also thought that they should have all been set during the Clone Wars
