I know many of those on the forum are not fans of the Craig era and therefore gave Skyfall a miss, but I though we should have some sort of review thread.
I'd give it 3/5 . A mediocre spy thriller made in the modern fashion with a boring plot. A very poor Bond movie too.

Very dull and I'm not a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond so I rate 5/10

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

4/10 because I'm not a fan of the rebooted Craig Bond and the film was rather odd.

I would give Skyfall a 10/10 but I had to be fair and just drop it to a 9. I did this because, even though Skyfall is a true work of art it sort of misses in other areas of diversity. I guess these are spoilers but the ending where Ralph Fiennes is shown as the new M was a mistake. They should have put an Asian actor or a black actor as the new M. They should not have used Turkey in the opening sequence. Setting it in TUrkey kind of vilifies Islam and the Turkish people. Bad things don't just happen in Istanbul. Bad things happen all the time in other cities. I don't see why they can't set it in a city in America and really emphasize that Western imperialism has done a lot of bad things to other countries and cultures. More background to Q would have been cool. I wish they showed that he was gay, I guess that was hinted in the way he acted, but it's important that the series really emphasizes diversity and fairness.

It was like 2006 and Casino Royale all over again where everyone was acting like it was the greatest film ever made but the actual film didn't really do anything for me at all when I saw it.
