It's a nice design and seems to have captured the true essence of Bond.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

This a great cover for 2007. I thought they would have a pulp style cover. But I prefer this.

This a great cover for 2007. I thought they would have a pulp style cover. But I prefer this. I agree completely. This is such a vast improvement over the previous covers of recent reissues of the Fleming books--for some reason, the publishers went with that cheap pulp style. But now, for the centenary novel, I think the Fleming estate is going for a whole different approach. The selection of Sebastian Faulks as writer, along with this new cover design, signals that they have re-branded the literary Bond franchise as somewhat of a "serious" fiction and not some cheap dime novel. I applaud the approach.
