I was thinking more along the lines of popularity, not so much box office numbers. Bond and Daniel Craig are now iconic figures in culture and have reached the upper levels of prestige. If DC's Bond is an iconic figure in pop culture, then there's no place for the traditional classic dark-haired Bond anymore. Might as well make Bond black. Batman is rebooted once again with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Ben Affleck is now in the Batsuit. Many hate this casting, but that's ok. As for the Batman solo film, it is rumored to be released in 2019. It seems to me that Babs is trying to make DC's Bonds into all-time classics in the likes of Gone With The Wind, The Godfather, and Star Wars. Believe whatever you want, but she is nothing but a pretentious SOB.

I doubt FBF would agree with you Ron, right FBF? Ron and Alvin have James Bond while we got Kingsman. If Spectre makes billions, whatever because Bond is not for us anymore.

There is no way Kingsman will out do Daniel Craig and the reboot he brought to Bond. Kingsman is old time campy spy action. But there is only one Daniel Craig and his Bond is gritty and has made a deep mark in modern cinema as he redefined the modern hero. This is a hero in touch with his inner feelings. He's also not an obnoxious male chauvinist like the old time Bond. My friend use to post here, Alvin, and he's here sitting next to me. We belong to a group of young progressives that define the new generation of Bond fans and we are just blown away by how awesome Spectre will be. We believe by the time Spectre is released, no one will remember Kingsman. I never said that Kingsman will do the numbers DC Bonds have done. Kingsman is for folks like me and BJ. And if I want gritty modern cinema, give me The Dark Knight Trilogy which is more like Bond than DC Bonds will ever be.

Brosnan is now on record backing Idris Elba to replace Cr-egg as Bond! I am done with Brosnan now and I could care less if his career tanks because he has crossed a line with such a moronic statement. He should be backing Cavill now to take over the role, not someone who has no business even being in the discussion. Let Brosnan go play with his Green Peace buddies now. I doubt November Man ever gets a sequel given how badly it did at the box office worldwide. BJ you better shut up on this, and accept the fact that James Bond has been dead ever since Babs went Darth Sidious on us 10-11 years ago. Bond is not just for us anymore. Based on the nonsensical recognition and success of SF, you saw what happened 3 years ago. Anybody or anything can be Bond now because of that. We got Kingsman now, and that's the closest to a classic Bond we have in a while. It blew me away in a way that I haven't felt in a spy film since DAD. I think you are going way too harsh on Pierce. Sure I may pissed as hell when he supported DC as Bond and worse...him seeing SF in theaters. Does any of that stopped me from watching any new movies from him? No it didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if Tim supports the idea of a black Bond. You will support NM2 no matter what. Now that is a classic Bond except that it's not Bond but a classic Bond in a non-Bond actioner.

You can't get rid of Babs. She'd have to sell the franchise and that'll never happen. This is why you can forget about hoping that the traditional classic dark-haired Bond will return. Babs gave a modern classic Bond (which is Pierce) an unfair treatment so you know what? You might as consider that anybody or anything can be Bond. If you want the classic Bond returning, give November Man sequel FULL support. In the meantime, who needs James Bond when we rebels got Kingsman: The Secret Service?

If Eon is smart they will hire Cavill as soon as SPECTRE is released. FBF, you may have to rerthink your logic now with Cavill being the leading choice on the internet now to take over. Don't worry, Broccoli will be reduced in importance. Babs has to go. Otherwise, there's no point of rooting for classic dark-haired Bond returning anymore.

Once Broccoli goes, we have the 7th 007: Right FBF and SAS? Babs will be very hard to be removed for a while.

It doesn't matter what Bond looks like anymore. Based on SF's nonsensical success and recognition, anybody or anything can be him now.
