James Norton has been mentioned for Bond. I'd prefer (like the other members here!!) a traditional Bond such as Turner.

I'd like Turner. But I have read around the forums of people who claim to be insiders and I don't think he will be cast. He seems a strange choice for Barbara Broccoli who will surely want some serious actor.

The press are reporting that Tom Hiddleston has signed up. Of course he would be preferable to Daniel Craig. I would prefer someone with a Timothy Dalton/Pierce Brosnan look.

Sounds like Brosnan is playing a "government official" so not part of the IRA villians. He did play an IRA man in The Long Good Friday.

www.thebondbulletin.com/work-on-bond25-could-begin-spring-2016While the latest Bond thriller “Spectre” is still in cinemas around the world, producer Barbara Broccoli recently shed some light on the next film of the popular franchise – BOND25.
In a recent interview with Swiss news magazine 20Minuten.ch, Barbara Broccoli, daugther of legendary producer Albert R. Broccoli, revealed that work on the 25th adventure of agent 007 could begin as early as spring 2016. “We have put three years of work into Spectre. It was a thrill, but now we want to enjoy the success and the reactions of the audiences. In spring we start again.”
Much has been speculated about Daniel Craig wanting to leave the role. On the subject whether he would return for a fifth Bond outing, Broccoli commented: “I hope we can continue with Daniel. I love him, obviously not just me but also the audience. I will try my best to keep him on.”
With the re-appearance of infamous terror organisation S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and its leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld, fans wondered whether Bond could possibly encounter both again in upcoming films of the world-famous spy thriller franchise. “It’s always a challenge to keep the balance between what the fans want and the demand to provide them with something new and surprising”, says Broccoli. “I think, the end of Spectre leaves us with endless possibilities. That’s a good starting point.”
BOND25 could see the return of Christoph Waltz to a possible cast as his character did not die at the end of “Spectre” but was captured. Same can be said about Léa Seydoux who drove off with Bond and maybe even for Monica Belluci’s character Lucia Sciarra who was advised by Bond to contact his CIA friend Felix Leiter for protection. Since the Daniel Craig films have been tied together by a common story arc, it would not be entirely out of the question. I don't wish to sound like Scrooge but I could not be bothered to watch Spectre and don't really want a Daniel Craig film following on from Spectre. I suppose it might be interesting to see if they do go with the Blofeld kills Bond's Spectre girl and then Bond has to get revenge storyline.

As Mr Lemon said I've heard (I have not seen it) that there are lots of jokes in Spectre. But I agree this is not Daniel Craig's strength and his fans prefer his more dour Bond. The reviews have been mixed and it seems like te box office is mildly disappointing.

The campaign for Spectre feel muted to anyone else? Star Wars is stealing a lot of thunder. I've not noticed much. Skyfall had more publicity! The first reviews of Skyfall are a bit mixed with reviews saying the film is ok but a bit of a mess and not as good as Skyfall.

What a faux pas! I wish Daniel Craig would stop moaning. He should move on from James Bond if he hates it. He is past his sell by date anyway!

Sam Smith's Spectre theme is really bland.

"Sam and Jimmy have written the most inspirational song for Spectre and with Sam's extraordinary vocal performance, 'Writing's on the Wall' will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time," Spectre producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement. Same type of song as Skyfall.

Most recent news is Craig is talking about not returning. There was an interview where he said this would be his last one. But I can't believe it and think he will make at least one more. I think he said it to make him look like he wants to leave and do something else whereas in reality he loves making a Bond film every three/four years for a huge fee!
