Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Hello,
I saw a bit of Sean Brosnan in 'Romeo And Juliet'. When he's the right age for James Bond, he'd be absolutely PERFECT. 007 fans would go crazy!
That's why Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, and all the rest at EON will NEVER CAST HIM!
Take Care!

Since I grew up watching Pierce, he's my choice for James Bond #7. If he's going to be Bond someday, the franchise is going to need someone like Christopher Nolan or J.J. Abrams.

Hello, I saw some stuff with Jason Connery on You Tube the other day. The spitting image of his Dad, Sean, when he was younger...but with a British accent. Now Jason is 45 years old and WILL NEVER be Bond. Again, like Sean Brosnan, IT'S TOO OBVIOUS. Geoffrey Moore, Sir Rog's son, anybody? Anyway, Jason Connery nor Sean Brosnan will ever get cast as 007 because their father's (Sean and Pierce) both have some bad blood with the Broccoli's. Next stupid casting decision! Take Care!

Hello, Maybe I'm dreaming...but do any of the moderators know if anyone at Sony, MGM, or EON Productions ever check out our web site and forums? Do they know how to do an engine search? Do they even care? We are the TRUE IAN FLEMING JAMES BOND 007 FANS, not the 'dumbed down gullable, drone like, we'll pay money to see anything' multi-plex hordes. I'm tired of preaching positive things about 'Casino Royale', trying to like the damn reboot, and Daniel friggin' Craig (please GO AWAY)!!! Give me an Ian Fleming novel, or my James Bond Ultimate Edition DVD's right now! No, FormerBondFan doesn't have my username and password. I'm not crazy! I don't have muliple personality disorder, a drug addiction problem, schitzophrenia, alcohol disorder, or anything like that. I think Daniel's little 'the audiences would accept a by-sexual James Bond'...or: '007 and Felix Leiter should be lovers' comment has made me WAKE UP! In real life Daniel, are you gay? Just wondering why you would take a British Icon loved by MILLIONS who's intended to be a womanizer and even utter something so stupid!!! I have NOTHING against Homosexuality. I have gay and by friends. They're great people. My point is...can we for the love of God PLEASE leave James Bond as Ian Fleming and 'Cubby' Broccoli intended? Is that too much to ask? Jeeze! I think I'll skip "Quantum Waste Of Time" November 7th! I'll go see it, because Alternative 007 is looking forward to my review. Al Pacino better be in it. It will numb some of my pain! I'll go see the new Bond flick, post an objective, reasonable review here on the site, then go hang myself. Take Care!

Of these three, Sean fits best as Bond, but he's going to need to proof himself just like his dad did by playing Remington Steele and darker roles in such movies like The Fourth Protocal.

I'll go see the new Bond flick, post an objective, reasonable review here on the site, then go hang myself. The more interviews I read with Craig, the less qualified I think he is to play James Bond. He strikes me as someone who had no great love for the series or character prior to the role, and now just wants change for change's sake. There was a press conference included on the TWINE dvd, where Brosnan addressed the Hong Kong media. In it, he basically spoke about Bond the way the fans and press did in the wake of CR. It's painfully obvious that he was a huge fan and wanted to go in a darker direction. I'll never understand why EON didn't have the confidence to do so with him. Personally, I won't be going to see QOS, but it has nothing to do with trying to 'boycott' it. Michael Wilson once compared EON to a politician: Every two years, they come up for re-election, and the fans vote. So, I'm going to vote "No Thanks". ;D But Alec, don't lose heart. I suggest you go watch 2 Connery's and a Moore this week. This should get you back in good spirits in no time.

The simple fact is, Daniel's ideas about James Bond having alternative sexuality angers me. Thanks. Take Care!

I've never heard Daniel Craig say anything about making Bond bisexual or whatever but if he did I'm fairly certain it was just a bit of mischief on his part or a reference to a certain spy scene in Day Of The Jackel. It's not a big deal.
