Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Anyone think of any movie that will get nominations from the Oscars next year? We know TDK will get nominations as well as other movies like Iron Man, Indy 4, Wall*e, and Kung Fu Panda.

The serious contenders won't be released until later this year- such as Eastwood's "Changeling".
The summer blockbusters will probably net the usual technical wins, such as editing, special f/x, etc. I'm not sure how realistic all the Dark Knight Oscar buzz really is, though. Most insiders have said that it's little more than internet-based wishful thinking- and that the people who really matter aren't taking it seriously.
The Academy does tend to notice when a film has a massive box office, but there are still several factors working against it. For one, it's a comicbook movie. Also, the Academy is generally reluctant to award an Oscar to a dead actor. They consider it a downer for awards night- especially when the death wasn't by natural causes.
