Interesting reading. Did'nt think LALD was so popular. Read that it did solid but unspectacular box office. TSWLM was supposed to have saved the franchise but it's 130 million down on LALD. Thunderball is the highest grosser. But not the best Bond movie. The general Box office went down from the early 80's, I wonder why. The lowest grosser is LTK, but that is'nt the worst Bond movie It's follow up, GE grossed over 200 million more than LTK, perhaps because of the 'New Bond' factor. However CR grossed only 90 million more than DAD, dispite the 'New Bond' factor.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

LTK did poorly at the Boc-Office mainly because of it's Summer release against Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade & Lethal Weapon 2 as well as it's 15 certificate in the UK, I'm sure if it was edited for a PG and released in the Winter it would've been the most succesful Bond of the 80's
