Eon have some thinking to do now if the reviews are anything to be by. The gritty new joke free aproach has gone stale after one film.

There isn't that much you can do with Craig in the lead other than what they've done so far. In short you have to turn Bond into a morose everyman so Craig can fit in. What can they do now? A Diamonds Are Forever type film with Craig walking around doing quips? It wouldn't suit him and all the spin we got about why Craig had to do Bond in the first place would be exposed as nonsense.

That's right. I mean Moore was a smoother, funnier Bond because that's where his acting strenght was. Connery was serious, hard but also a charming Bond because he could do that. Dalton was a sensitive, serious Bond as he could act in that way. Brosnan could play it tough, charming or funny. Unfortunatly DC can't really do most of these so we have this serious unemotional thug. The PR team claim that DC is closest to the Fleming Bond, but they say this with every Bond actor. Even Moore was supposed to be closest to Flemings Bond because he was British. The problem is the franchise are likely to keep DC on and justify it by mentioning the box office returns. QOS is getting a panning but won't be allowed to fail.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

There is no point moaning about this, DC will be Bond for 3-5 films, get over it, RM stayed as Bond for 12-14 years and you don't moan at him!

The thing is, Daniel Craig's Bond is radically different from the others - even the critics say so! Maybe after the critical mauling, they make may some changes if Craig makes a third.
