Daniel Craig has suggested that his future as James Bond is uncertain, despite having a contract for four films.
In an interview with Playboy, the 40-year-old confessed that whether or not he returns for another 007 instalment will depend on the success of the upcoming Quantum Of Solace.
"I did sign on for four so a piece of paper says there are two more to do," he commented. "But let's see how this one goes. In the film business, everything doesn't always go according to plan. We'll wait and see. If it goes wrong, we'll have to rethink things."
The 22nd James Bond adventure, Quantum Of Solace, is released in UK cinemas on October 31.

I think he's saying we'll wait for the BO figures... that's box-office not body-odour...

I hope DC doesn't do Bond 24.

I don't think DC will enjoy the QOS reviews.

Well he can never make his mind up whether it is
3-film contract 5-film contract
Apparently it's a 4-film contract now but DC says that, that is only on paper.
Obviosely the guy wants to do other things but that pay-check is gonna keep growing.. and growing... and growing
Until he ends up being a 1980's RM type

Brosnan signed a contract for three with an option for a forth. I suspect Craig has done the same. The way Brosnan was dumped after four sugests BB thinks a new actor every few years. Unlike Cubby Brocoli who would keep a good Bond for five or six films.

Has anyone noticed DC's hair is suspiciously similar to Connery's, ie a very short, flat side parting. Connery was wearing a toupee at 40. Maybe DC is as well.

He is wearing a toupee, and a comic false nose. ;D ;D Sorry Daniel! I'm not sure where he goes next. Does he want to be in a Moonraker style Bond film?

If DC can have longer hair, I sugest he grows it. It would improve his look. Brosnan and Dalton had much longer hair during their tenures.

If he stays on it will be for financial rather than artisitic reasons. The Daniel Craig I have read about puts art over commercialism.
