If it wasn't for Babs I don't think anyone would have the faintest clue who Daniel Craig is. Here in America, Craig is still an obscure British actor, and definitely not a household name. Typical reaction I get from people on discussions about movies and the subject of Bond comes up: "Who's that new James Bond?" Or "Who's that Blond Bond--what's his name?"

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I hope it doesn't change anything here in the US when Bond 23 comes out in theaters in 2011.

They'll have to start shooting at the start of next year to make 2011 - which is no sure thing with the current studio problems.

The thing about DC is that he was billed as a hot new star and a minor coup for Eon (not by me I hasten to add) when they hired him and yet his career has not taken off at all outside of Bond and he'll be pushing 50 by the time Bond 24 swings around. Sam Worthington is now a bigger star than Craig which is ironic to say the least.

Die another day,the world is not enough, tommorow never dies, a view to a kill, moonraker, the man with the golden gun, octopussy, diamond are forever ARE NOT SUPERIOR to QOS Your devotion to Daniel Craig is just awesome. I can tell you my buddies and I were looking at your post and we just sense your dedication to him, that you're just into the image of a metrosexual Bond, and that you understand how Daniel is an inspiration to men. I mean, all that old Bond image of a womanizer is passe. We have a true progressive Bond now that doesn't marginalize feminists and gays. So we really think your devotion to Daniel is just cool We can picture you just bowing to Daniel if you saw this great actor. I hope your proud because your inner soft side is liberated.

He doesn't like the press junket that comes with playing Bond.

He's never exactly going to be known for his sparkling personality on the chat show circuit.

I saw some of that Letterman interview when QoS came out. DC looked like he was scratching his arse at one point.
