Sir Roger Moore weighs in on `Quantum of Solace`
Former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore said he doesn't rate the last 007 film Quantum of Solace as highly as Daniel Craig's debut outing.
The 82-year-old told Absolute Radio's Who's Calling Christian competition: 'I enjoy Daniel Craig, I think he's a damn good Bond but the film as a whole, there was a bit too much flash cutting for me.'
'I thought Casino Royale was better. It was just like a commercial of the action. There didn't seem to be any geography and you were wondering what the hell was going on but there you are, call me old fashioned and an old fuddy duddy!'

I think it's an unwritten rule (or maybe a written contractural obligation) that Bonds don't slate each other. Besides which Moore is far too much of a gentleman to give Craig a grilling. The media gave DC and QOS enough of a scalding anyway, no point in Moore rubbing salt into the wounds.

Lazenby seems to be the only one who bashes the other bonds cause he resently started bashing craig... BRO  |

Hi im new on this site l have always been interested in James Bond and l got the Pierce Brosnan biog a few years back and George Lazenby was the only one saying Pierce's bond was sad but the other four actors gave their thumbs up

He is popular with the media now (unlike before CR was released). Many of the negative reviews I read on QoS still managed to praise Craig. And there are many Craig fans out there. I don't see why you think it would be the norm for any person to want to bash Craig... |

Well Jetset, Moore actually praised Craig. However he said he did'nt like QOS. Like many of us (not on here though, I take it). I like Craig and CR, but I don't particularly like QoS. |
