Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I was excited about a new Bond actor in 2005 until they dropped the DC bombshell. I wasn't excited about a new Bond actor. The series should have been retired long ago.

I can understand your POV as I believe you were looking forward to a fifth adventure for the man below.

James Bond will live on, and I hope to see another actor playing the role soon. And some more Bond novels, comic books, TV adaptions....!!

We need a new Bond to refresh things ultimately, plus of course new writers.

I prefer a long hiatus after DC's term is ended.

I prefer a long hiatus during Craig's tenure.

I prefer a long hiatus during Craig's tenure. Then a big hiatus should follow after DC's tenure.

Well, we do need a light on the horizon to keep us going. The prospect of a Bond film without DC is a distant one but it'll have to happen one day.

Again, Bond needs a long break after Bond 23. Hello, Suspend your disbelief and imagine with me.... After Bond 23: MGM, in a desperate bid to survive, manages to have more say and takes away total final say from Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson re: casting, writing, and directing. (I know...keep dreaming Alec) They decide to bring in someone like Bryan Singer, J.J. Abrams, or Christopher Nolan to direct. Someone has also drafted a phenomenal script. One of the previously mentioned directors tests and decides to cast this man as British Secret Agent 007: SEAN BROSNAN!!!!!!!Would you still say FormerBondFan that James Bond should take a long hiatus?Ahhhhhh....we can dream, can't we??? Take Care!

Jason Connery might have been a decent shout once. He played Ian Fleming in a television thing.
