Forget about cars, gadgets and girls. Bond has often had to use just his fists to save his life. So what were the best and worst fist fights in peoples opinions ? Who would you least like to meet in a dark alley ?
Connery:
Tall and muscular. Who can forget his iconic fight with Robert Shaw in FRWL ? Two extremly fit men fighting to the death. The fights after that were a bit tame and he seemed to be going through the motions in YOLT. However the lift fight in DAF is also a classic. Sean looked fit for a 53 year old in NSNA and his fight with Pat Roach was good fun.
Lazenby:
Also tall but a lot leaner and fitter looking than the YOLT Connery. Lazenby has said that they really 'went for it' in the fight scenes and it shows. Lazenby's fight scenes looked great.
Moore:
Tall with a muscular body. Always labelled the softer Bond. Perhaps unfairly. Some lack lusture fights in his first couple. However TSWLM saw more time given to fist fights. Perhaps the most spectacular fight in Bond history was the museum fight in M. The fight scene in O was also well staged. However father time caught up with Moore by AVTAK and the two fight scenes in this film were the worst in the seris.
Dalton:
Not especially muscular but the tallest Bond. His fight in the jail in TLD was good but all too brief.
Brosnan:
Tall and very slim in G. Wisely bulked up for his other outings. Beating up the bodyguards in TND was good. Showing Bond with injuries afterwards I also liked.
Craig:
Very muscular bodybuilder type body. His stairway fight in CR was a good fight. Showing him injured afterwards seemed to copying TND.
