Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

After Batman Returns, Warners Bros. felt that the Batfranchise's tone went a little too dark. It was decided that the next movie needs to lighten up. Tim Burton wasn't happy with direction and decided to bow out from the director's chair but remained as a producer. Afterwards, Michael Keaton left his position as the Dark Knight, and Val Kilmer steps in. Around the same time, Joel Schumacher enters as the director of the second sequel. Many fans believed that Batman died after Burton left. Nevertheless, Batman Forever was a success, surpassing Returns' number but did not top the first movie. Plus, some fans said this is the best Batmovie, better than Burton's. As for Kilmer, Batcreator Bob Kane said he is the best Batman to date. Riddle me this, riddle me that, who's afraid of the big, black bat?

Seven for me - I'ms potting a pattern. ;D
The poster would be better with just the Batman drawing as the Riddler and Two Face drawings are not that good.

To be honest I think the Nolan series makes the earlier Batman films look dreadful at times.

90's movies look a bit dated for some reason.

90's movies look a bit dated for some reason. They will work as "period pieces" soon like movies from the 80's, 70's etc. You just have to wait a few years.

Who is winning in the Batman poll series? West's Bat got the highest rating in this forum. Interesting! That's probably because the Adam West movie is a perfect adaption of the comedic TV series Batman.
