Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

A long time ago in a world of pop culture far, far away... It was a turning turn for Hollywood and the general public when Star Wars released during the summer of 1977. The sci-fi blockbuster invented the new meaning of pop culture, and moviegoers began to see movies a lot differently. Where would the 34-year old sci-fi franchise be if Star Wars bombed at the box office? For sure, we know the characters we know from the 1st movie would be a lot different, and there wouldn't be the Prequel Trilogy. It's been said that Splinter of the Mind's Eye (first written novel in the Star Wars Expanded Universe) was to be made as a low budget sequel if Star Wars flopped. Since the sci-fi flick created such a phenomenon, George Lucas set the plan to make a blockbuster sequel. Lucas himself decided not to direct the sequel as he was completely burned out in making the 1st movie. He instead handed over the directing duties to his former professor from USC, the late Irvin Kershner (also directed Never Say Never Again), but he remained as executive producer and oversee the project. Like its predecessor, The Empire Strikes Back became an all-time classic and one of the best rated movie in history. It received 3 Oscar nominations (1 win) and a Special Oscar. Along with the rest of the Original Trilogy, it went to many changes with the 1997 special edition and the 2004 DVD. And along the rest of the saga, it is now out on Blu-Ray, and it will be converted to 3-D for rerelease. "No. I am your father."Also check out Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
