Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

It doesn't get one Jones to give us the escapism. After the public's negativity on Temple of Doom due to its horror movie style, Lucas and Spielberg decided to go back to the action-adventure atmosphere of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Taking place 2 years after Raiders, Indiana Jones fights the Nazis once again. The sequel's introduction gives us the background of how Indy obtained his trademarks: whip, fedora, the scar on his chin, and especially his infamous fear of snakes. Not only there's one Jones but two. Harrison Ford is one of them, and the other is none other than the original James Bond himself Sean Connery (whose famous role was the primary inspiration for Indiana Jones), who plays Indy's old man and received a Golden Globe nomination for that role. Like its predecessors, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade became an all-time classic. Some critics and fans consider it as the best of series. The 3rd Indy closes up the original Indiana Jones trilogy. As the end of Cold War was near, Star Wars had finished its run in the big screen, and the same goes to Indiana Jones 6 years later. After those 2 franchises completed its job of giving us the escapism during the long non-combat war between the US and the Soviets, the dinosaurs had return from extinction. "Germany has declared war on the Jones boys."Also check out Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

I like this one because the Nazis are back as the villains. Can't have a good Indiana Jones film without Nazis.

How about the Indy IV poll as I'm looking forward to seeing the ratings!
