Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I'm not sure that Christian Bale would play Batman in it as the article wants.

Rebooting Batman is rather redundant if you ask me.

The studio will think of the money though. It might be time for a more comic book Batman film.

The studio will think of the money though. It might be time for a more comic book Batman film. You don't need to reboot the Bat for a more comic book tone. Why not transition the series' atmosphere from down-to-earth to larger-than-life? Think of the Chris' trilogy as the first years of Bruce Wayne as the Bat. The 2nd reboot is such a waste of the greatness the Bat trilogy has offered. There's plenty of other superheroes that need exposure. If you want to reboot a DC comic book movie, do the Green Lantern instead.

I'd imagine that Batman will be back in a few years with a new actor and yet another Batman origin story.

The DC characters are more famous than the Marvel ones so this might be a better idea than some people think.

I think they'd want Batman in there though. They'll give it a couple of years and then reboot the character.

If WB wants to continue to have the Bat dominate the screens, why not have Dick Grayson to take over from Bruce Wayne as Batman? And Grayson did became the Bat in the comics.

Anyone read the Batman: Knightfall comics with Bane as the villain? I think The Dark Knight Rises is going to use some of that story.
