I thought the first episode was ok but I've heard series 2 was so lacklustre that the creator of the show actually apologised. I've resited other (ahem) methods and am going to watch it on BBC2.

They just about managed to rescue the 4th series of Lost after the writers' strike - and it's a corker!

I sort of 'lost' the will to carry on watching it during the 3rd season, but I did pick it back up and have started watching the 4th season. It suffered from a classic mid series lull! There were a few filler episodes, and they were treading water before the last few series (which will be 16 episodes long rather than the usual 24). It's a bit like the 3rd series of the Sopranos, which focused on some family issues (Tony's real one - not his mafia one!) before they hired Robert Loggia, Frank Vincent and all and went mad in the last few series. The third series did include the classic Ralphie - Tony frying pan fight though. They are now answering some of the mysteries and creating more with the flashforwards.

Who watched the Eurovision song contest?
The Eastern Europeans have changed it a bit with their voting!

Who watched the Eurovision song contest? The Eastern Europeans have changed it a bit with their voting! I didn't watch it but I'm lead to believe the voting was fair and reasoned and the UK did really well.

I have just logged in to this wonderful friendly forum to see 19 guests are browsing the site. There are normally only one or two people browsing when I log in. They had heard that I had returned from my short holiday and were waiting in anticipation for me to log back in. Or maybe the site has gained in popularity due to the interesting articles and excellent forum members. As much as I'd like it to be both, I'm confident it was option 1.

Has anyone started to watch the new season of Heroes? Hello, I've only seen Season 1 of "Heroes". I absolutely loved it! I would like to see more. It's a bit of a rip-off of Marvel's "The X-Men"...but very enjoyable. My favorite characters are Claire (the cheerleader), Peter Pettrelli, and Hiro's father (George Takei). Least favorite character: Nathan Pettrelli I can't wait to see more of Zachary Quinto as Sylar...and I also think Zachary will rock as Spock in next summer's "Star Trek". The fact William Shatner is not in the film STINKS! J.J. Abrams has more than enough time to work the Shat into the movie if it's not coming out till 2009. Fans deserve to see Kirk alive after his crappy demise in "Generations". Shatner is famous for his wacky sense of humour, and I'm not believing him when he says "I'm not in it." I truly think / hope this is going to be another famous Shatner prank! Take Care!

Maybe they think he will overshadow the film as, let's face it, he is Star Trek!

Were you on a case? I read on the BBC news website that a secret underground base was destroyed recently off the coast of the Irish Republic.
