Will the Bond music be present in the next one - and will it make any difference to those who were not entirely happy with Daniel Craig as Bond. What about the gun barrell - will they put that back in?

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

According to mi6, Amy Winehouse is considered for the theme song.

Amy Winehouse does seem to be a common name when the next Bond theme is discussed.

I hope the rumours of Amy (I always seem spaced out) Whinehouse does not get to sing the theme. I thought Cornell did a good job, the best theme since Goldeneye for me.
Not sure who I'd go for, but I'm sure EON can do better than the Wine'o.

If EON couldn't even care less about the fans, they should have Kenny G doing the theme song.

Muse would do a good Bond theme but I doubt they'll be asked. Or be interested.

Kenny G is the smooth jazz musician many jazz listeners loved to hate.

I'm not a fan of Kenny G. Speaking of him, I know there is a lot people out there who doesn't like his music.

Hello,
I'm not so concerned with who will be the artist to do the next "Bond title song". I'm sure they'll find someone decent.
Just curious...
Does anybody miss the music of John Barry as much as I do? David Arnold always says what a fan he is of Barry's composing for the Bond films...but he will never be in his class.
Who can forget the theme music to the opening titles of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", the melodies of classics like "Goldfinger", "Thunderball", "Live And Let Die", "Moonraker", "Octop*$#ssy", "A View To A Kill", "The Living Daylights"...ect.
John Barry's music gave the Bond films such a majestic, grand, and epic feeling!
I would love for David Arnold to use a piece Barry wrote simply titled "007". Does anyone know the theme I'm referring to? It's not the Monty Norman Bond theme, I believe it was first used in "From Russia With Love".
I have it on my "Essential Bond" CD and "Moonraker" soundtrack ... it was heard while Roger Moore is in his boat being chased by Jaws and Hugo Drax's henchmen. I know for sure it first debuted in the Connery movies.
Does anyone else feel that David Arnold's instrumental contributions to Bond are "so-so"?
Take Care!

John Barry is much missed. I don't think they'll ever be able to replace him. David Arnold is very ho-hum. He's done a reasonable job but he hasn't really come up with anything special. There was a case for showing him the door with Pierce Brosnan and John Cleese and hiring someone new to put a fresh spin on things.

Did anyone else buy David Arnold's Shaken and stirred Album from several years ago?
