Brosnan beat Sean Connery! www.thetimes.co.za/PrintEdition/News/Article.aspx?id=809502"Stones’s Jagger is still rolling Mick Jagger, who famously “Can’t Get No Satisfaction”, is still considered sexy as he reaches his milestone 65th birthday, an online entertainment poll found this week. Jagger, who turned 65 yesterday, came seventh in a poll of 2000 people asked for their opinion on Britain’s favourite sexy older men. “As a rock musician, you can’t get more famous than Sir Mick Jagger,” said MSN entertainment editor Mike Lok. “He is still a music icon that people can’t get enough of.” Bond movie star Pierce Brosnan is top of the charts in the sex stakes, followed by 007 Sean Connery and Rod Stewart, with ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, 66, in sixth place before Jagger. The Rolling Stone, who has been married twice and has seven children, said recently that he has no intention of slowing down. “I’m sure the Rolling Stones will do more things and more records and more tours. We’ve got no plans to stop any of that really,” he said in a recent interview with BBC. — Sapa"

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

I hope DC will not be in this list when he reaches 50.

I think the Brozzer is staging a bit of a comeback lately. He needs to get that Thomas Crown sequel into production.

The Thomas Crown sequel...well written, performed, directed and promoted, will be absolutely HUGE for Pierce Brosnan. Pierce was a success BEFORE Bond, and he's even more of a success AFTER Bond! Screw EON productions...it's their loss, not Mr. Brosnan's. Take Care!

It's a pity that his post-Bond spy movie November Rain never happened.

Screw EON productions...it's their loss, not Mr. Brosnan's. EON screws up Pierce's Bonds. EON fires Pierce and hires DC, leaving him w/out a good Bond movie (with the exception of GE). Pierce gets bashed for being responsible for the 3 Bonds after GE. And EON's trying to get away with it. This is why DC's Bonds should be boycotted.

Cubby Brocccoli would not have sacked a popular Bond. If he stayed popular he would have been making Bond movies with a 60 year old Brosnan.

Not sure about 60. Cubby Broccoli would never have the made another AVTAK mistake. But early to mid 50's, definatly.

After the success of DAD, Cubby would've certainly gone ahead with a new Bond in 2004. He wouldn't have wasted time wondering if they should make a film about Jinx or a rookie 007.
I also think he would've kept Brosnan for 6 films, basing his decision on Connery's tenure and the fact that Moore may have done one too many.

It's weird to think that if Brosnan had taken over in 1987 as originally planned he could have been Bond for nearly twenty years!
