Is Bond 22 a continuation film from Casino Royale which will mean that Craig's Bond is the same character.
Will it follow on Rocky style - i.e. they will show that daft bit at the end where he shoots that man whilst wearing a trenchcoat?

The thought of a 40 year old Crane Jumper who doesn't give a damn is quite worrying. Let's hope they skip a few years.

It looks like it will be, according to the article in Variety.

I'm just wondering when this 40-year-old man is going to learn all those languages, become an expert on wines, etc.
You know, all those things that make Bond unique and keep him from being just another John McClane?

If Bond 22 is a continuation of Bond 21 and Craig is playing the same young agent, then the old series has ended for certain.

Thanks.
I did and still do! But we have twenty of those movies, and the Q/Moneypenny jokes are long in the tooth. So are satellite weapons. How many satellite weapons have been plot devices so far? Three? Four?

Bond is still Bond. It's just a different look to what we're used too. The Bond of DN didn't reveal all that we've come to learn and expect from the character over the years. I find some of this Craig bashing to be unjust and over the top at times. Sure he may be a different look and style, but he's not quite as bad as some of you portray him to be. I respect that he may not be to all members liking, but he has satisfied alot of Bond fans in his characterization.

Welcome to the forum Mr Benny. Many people are indeed happy with Daniel Craig as James Bond. I've nothing against him but I did not like the new interpretaion of Bond. I feel it's almost like a new character.

This is bad news for me.
Why can't they just make a Craig Bond film where he is an experienced agent?
Why have all this young Bond nonsense with Craig?

I have a feeling that the only real reason behind this 'reboot' is simply to reset the timeline and give Bond a new lease for the 21st century. I mean, it's 2007 now - 45 years since Dr. No was released! Without some sort of timeline reset, Bond would be in his eighties.
