Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

If Craig is best Bond since Connery then I guess that Michael Jackson will be as well.

It was just on the news that Daniel Craig has retired from acting to run a small bakery.

Once again Alvin you are talking utter rubbish, They said Brosnon was the best since connery, now Craig and then the next, dont believe what you hear. And once again you are being mean-spirited. Describing me as "talking utter rubbish" is basically saying that I'm full of it. My post was friendly, and I'm just being sincere with my thoughts and I'm not asking you to accept it either. When I say that Craig is the best Bond since Connery, that's just an opinion from me. But it happens to be an opinion shared by the media too. You'll need to go after them if you want to try to change that sentiment. And good luck with that. But just do a google search and you'll see a lot of articles expressing the opinion that Daniel Craig is great or the best since Connery. Whatever negative reviews there are for QOS, the fairly consistent comment is that Craig is great. Here's an example: jam.canoe.ca/Movies/Artists/C/Craig_Daniel/2008/11/07/7337676-sun.htmlAnd that’s why we feel free to say that Daniel Craig is the best James Bond who ever drew breath. Or a gun. Craig is, above all, a superb actor, which was established long before he became Bond.
Furthermore, he has been permitted to show a James Bond with intense emotion and some very dark corners. His Casino Royale debut was made with a particularly strong script and ferocious action scenes. He’s got much of the same appeal that Connery had in the Bond role, and far more technology on his side. Of course, Craig was in the underdog spot when Casino Royale was released, as he’d taken a lot of flak from people who couldn’t picture him as the iconic secret agent. That made it easy to root for him, and the film delivered.Remember Craig’s extraordinary foot chase at the beginning of Casino Royale? Now imagine how it looked to some kid who’d never seen a James Bond movie before. Here's another: www.news.com.au/story/0,,24645238-2,00.html And it consolidates Craig as an inspired choice in the central role. After just two films, the actor now owns the character.
What's more, his Bond makes the men that went before him look like mere actors - and given the calibre of the competition, that is no mean feat indeed by the new kid on the block. You're entitled to your opinion, and it's not like all these rave reviews of Daniel Craig is like a universal fact that we have to accept. They're just opinions but opinions by a lot of people in the media. But you don't have to have this sense of anger towards me. You need to really chill.

I don't buy into this notion that everyone loved Daniel Craig as Bond even though they hated Quantum of Solace.
Critics complained that Bond was not fun, that he was boring, dour and a one-dimensional psychopath with one facial expression. This was the Bond from Casino Royale; just because he shakes with a glass of whisky in front of a mirror or gets tearful in the shower for 30 seconds does not give the Craig Bond a more rounded character.
The critics coppped out by not wanting to criticize Craig personally. So they critiqued his new Bond, but said :"but Daniel Craig is still a good actor" because they did not want to go after Craig after the flak he received before Casino Royale.
