Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

DC is the best dressed man when he is in a Bond movie, wearing an expensive suit or tux. "The Best Dressed Man" title should belong to either Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, or John Cho.

Well you're wrong. There are a lot of us Daniel Craig fans. Yeah, you and that language expert Chuck E. Cheese. Daniel took the world by storm, even the media quickly changed their mind and gave an upswell of support for him, then the mood of everything changed. The media saw the Daniel Craig critics as ridiculous in their boycott. You can't deny that Daniel Craig turned everything around and became a media sensation. Yeah, Craig did it by having Sony throw a ton of money at media outlets and pumping a multi-million dollar marketing campaign behind his two Bond films, which ultimately didn't do squat for Sony, considering that they just announced a $1 Billion loss. I'll have you know that I'm getting close to ask out a cute girl in my class. We've been talking a lot lately and I gave her my cell phone number so I know she's bound to give hers to me. I can tell you that I'm more confident of myself because I find Daniel Craig inspiring. Dawg, you're just as clueless with the dames. You talked a lot with this cutey? How nice, although I noticed that despite all that gabbing, she never gave you her cell number, let alone her home phone number. You're history, paisan. You'd be lucky if her interest level in you is at least 1%. All I'm saying is that there is nothing wrong confronting your soft side. But fans like Chuck and me and my friends have seen the magic of Daniel Craig. You're still not getting it that Daniel Craig has become a liberating figure for men. Think of his approach as Bond and who he is as a man as a kind of spiritual experience. He isn't afraid to express his soft side, call it a feminine side or whatever, but that's part of being human and Daniel's Bond has synthesized that with his hard nature as a killer. I'm convinced that he and Barbara Broccoli studied the character carefully and figured out how to modernize the character. It's like a fusion of order (the feminine, metrosexual side of Daniel's Bond) with the chaos (his killer nature). It all came to me in my philosophy class when the lecture was about Nietzsche's Apollinian and Dionysian clash. Craig as a spiritual experience? That's one of the nuttiest things I've ever heard. Listen pal, I've encountered young people like you before. These are words of a young guy struggling with sexual identity. You're grasping for straws, anything to justify your inner struggle, so you bought into this lunacy about Craig as the ideal Bond because he's gone metrosexual. If you and that linguist Chuck and your other cronies and professors in that liberal college want to cavort in spas and slap on some girlie cosmetics, go ahead; no one's stopping you. Just come on out of the closet and be done with it. But don't go around insisting on making the Bond series into something it's not with all this crapola about a metrosexual feminine Bond; and don't overinterpret the character by babbling about Nietzsche and the clash of order and chaos, just so you can justify your inner struggle.

Well said, Atticus. I enjoy your posts. To Alvin (wherever you are): you really need to look into a concept called overinterpretation. You also misread Nietzsche to put it nicely. The last time I checked, in The Birth of Tragedy, the great philosopher wasn't talking about a killer struggling to express his metrosexual urges. His concepts of order and chaos, of the Apollinian and Dionysian, are nowhere near that realm. I believe Fleming also didn't see his literary creation in that vein. I'm not going to tell you stop being a Craig fan. Obviously, you're free to pick your favorite Bond. But your explanation of Craig's Bond is creepy. You and your friends have a bizarre infatuation with Craig.

How nice, although I noticed that despite all that gabbing, she never gave you her cell number, let alone her home phone number. You're history, paisan. You'd be lucky if her interest level in you is at least 1%. Well you don't know me and you weren't there when I was talking to this girl. I'll have you know that she listened to me when I explained to her the intricate storyline of QOS. She didn't give me her phone numbers because, did it ever occur to you that she's just shy? Bottom line is, I feel better about myself because I've been inspired by Daniel Craig. I feel more confident about myself now. That's why it was brilliant casting by Barbara Broccoli to get Daniel. She knew the right direction to take for Eon. I don't know if chuck is gay but for the record, I'm not and so far as I know, neither are my buddies. We're all just aware of the contemporary trend in society and that's what Eon and Daniel have tapped into. Has it ever occurred to you that there are multiple meanings in a work of art? My professor said that I bring up interesting things about QOS and he applauds my imagination. He also said that this is a time for men to really let their inner selves out, and he applauds Daniel Craig as a role model. I can tell you that my friends Maynard and Ron are now more concerned about fashion and their skin care than they used to be. That's what Daniel has been, an inspiration.

That's what Daniel has been, an inspiration. Your friend Daniel Craig isn't what I call an inspiration and neither is your Queen B1tch Broccoli. J.J. Abrams and Christopher Nolan are the true meanings of inspiration.

Dame Barbara has kept a low profile since QoS came out. Even she knew it was shite not that would ever be admitted.

You dont hear anybody else saying Connery inspires them to take good care of their skin. if your talkin to girls like this yer never gonna get a girl.
