Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Mrs. Doutbfire is another great non-Bond movie from Pierce even though it's more of a Robin Williams movie.

But Pierce is the villian!
Thomas Crown 2 should be fun.

Apparantly Cubby Broccoli was'nt sure about Pierce until he saw 'The Forth Protocol'. Then he was convinced. However that did'nt stop Dalton getting the part in 1987.

Pierce has made some decent non Bond films both before and after 1995. However it's true that if he had'nt got the part he would have drifted more into making T.V. movies & duds. Maybe even gone back to 'Remington Steel'.

My favourite Non Bond film is probably Highlander with good old Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez (Sean Connery) as the Egyptian born, Spaniard with a 'perfect' Scottish accent. Perfect.

Re; The Forth Protocol & Brosnan. Read it in one of the Bond books. Brosnan had only really been in 'Remington Steel' which was very lightweight. Cubby Brocoli thought he may have been too much like Roger Moore. However 'The Forth Protocol' showed he could play it more serious & star in a big screen movie.

I love Timothy Dalton's turns in Flash Gordon and The Rocketeer.
