Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

Dante's Peak is another good one from Pierce. Brosnan had the Bondian name of Harry Dalton in Dante's Peak too!! A reference to Timothy Dalton.

I think I'm right in saying that Kenny G won an Oscar for his Dante's Peak score. Or maybe I just made that up...

Let's save Kenny G for DC since those arrogant Pro-Craig minions deserve to get the feeling that they're at a dentist chair and have their teeth drilled out while hearing Kenny's music in QOS.

I thought you said pro-Craig onions for a second there. I've just been told that Kenny G's legal team have threatened to take this website to the Small Claims Court.

I'm always getting my onions and minions mixed up. It creates havoc in the kitchen sometimes. Was it Pierce Brosnan's birthday today or yesterday? That surely must be worth a toast with a glass of chilled lucozade.

Happy 55th birthday to FormerBondFan's favourite 007 and James Bond number 5. The one and only modern day James Bond.

Is that a recent picture ? He looks good to me. Stallone & Willis, 61 & 52 respectivly got rave reviews for their recent action man films 'Rocky' & 'Die Hard'. Indianna Jones is now being played by a 65 year old & that pic could be the biggest of the summer. Pierce being cut off in his prime in his early 50's still baffles me and millions of others.

Pierce being cut off in his prime in his early 50's still baffles me and millions of others. As I've said before, I think they missed a great opportunity by not centering Casino Royale around an older 007. It would've been far more radical than simply casting someone younger like they'd always done. They laid the groundwork in DAD to take Bond somewhere new...then just abadoned it in the next film. Fleming would've addressed those issues head on. I also think audiences would've been pleasantly surprised- as the recent success of older action stars has shown. This is the oldest franchise out there, with more fans over 30 than under that mark. If any hero could afford to be portrayed older, it's Bond. And it's not as though they would've been painting themselves into a corner. No one would've been surprised if Brosnan had then quit and been replaced with a younger actor.

Pierce looks way younger than 50 at the 76th Oscars.
