As well as being James Bond fan's. Do you enjoy other movie franchise's, and If so, what are they and why do you like them.

If they can be termed a "franchise", I loved the Amicus compendium films of the 1970's: Asylum, Vault of Horror, and soforth. I didn't like the last three Star Wars films that much. The magic was absent; maybe I should give them another chance.

Favourite James Bond Films: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible and any upcoming action films starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good because he'll need it to expand his reputation as an actor, especially in the action realm)
Favourite Films: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Harry Potter, Middle-Earth, The Matrix, Mission: Impossible

The Indiana Jones series is a good one. Raiders and Last Crusade are excellent, but I wouldn't stick the Temple of Doom in that category.

I hope Indy 4 would make Bond 22 look like a piece of garbage.

I hope Indy 4 would make Bond 22 look like a piece of garbage. All they have to do is stick with the tried and tested formula. No need to deviate and keep the fans happy. Are you listening Babs?

You can't beat a good Carry On film. I'm not sure if that was a movie franchise. It sort of was.

Speaking of Rocky Balboa, I prefer this over CR in terms of 2006 movies.

The last Rocky was wonderful. It was a great tribute for Rocky fans. I actually enjoyed the first 4 Rocky movies. Although Rocky 4 is not the greatest story it more than makes up for it with a truly awesome soundtrack. Rocky 5 was abysmal and when I heard Stallone was finally making Rocky Balboa I feared the worst. My earlier fears were put to bed as Stallone delivered a masterpiece of a movie which IMO was on par with Rocky 1.

I enjoyed Rocky because it was a celebration of Rocky for the fans; same with the last Die Hard film. I'm expecting Indiana Jones to be the same.
It's a shame that Eon could not have made a Bond film for fans of the series.

Rambo is not on at my local cinema. I'll have to wait for the DVD. I used to think that the first two sequals were a bit weak, but I am quite fond of them now.
